Apply now to begin paid training before our next bus operator class. Training lasts nine weeks, then you’ll be driving a bus!
Not ready to apply yet? Our next class will be in the fall and candidates can start work before classes begin.
No experience necessary
You don’t need any experience other than driving a car for at least five years, and you must have a good driving record. You must also be able to speak conversationally in English and be currently eligible to work in the United States.
CDL
Unless you already have a Commercial Driver’s License, you’ll need to obtain your Commercial Learner’s Permit (Class B) from the Oregon DMV before training begins. We can help you with the process.
Screenings
Applicants must pass a physical exam, a drug test and a criminal background check.
