Lynay enjoys serving the public as a bus operator, meeting new people and traveling around the city. Working for LTD has also provided her the financial stability to pursue other passions, including writing. LTD’s excellent training program helped get her started and she now considers her co-workers family.

Apply now to begin paid training before our next bus operator class. Training lasts nine weeks, then you’ll be driving a bus!

Not ready to apply yet? Our next class will be in the fall and candidates can start work before classes begin.

No experience necessary

You don’t need any experience other than driving a car for at least five years, and you must have a good driving record.

CDL

Unless you already have a Commercial Driver’s License, you’ll need to obtain your Commercial Learner’s Permit (Class B) from the Oregon DMV before training begins. We can help answer any questions you have.

Screenings

Applicants must pass a physical exam, a drug test and a criminal background check.
